Good morning, Okies
I sent a PM to several who expressed interest in obtaining a copy of the diagnosis and meds handout that NNbreeder prepared for POOPS, but will send a copy to any of you who either PM me or send me an email to rabbitsandpoultry @gmail.com (no spaces) with your full "real" name and mailing address.
For the time being, this information is also in my signature line. In case you lose track of this post - look for the turkey avatar.

Oops. It's the testing of the birds that is annual. Now I remember that testers go to school every three years. Last year, I was planning on going to the tester school but didn't get to. This year it is back on my list.

Good rainy morning everyone! I hope everyone has a wonderful day

Hi all,
a big bright light just shined through my window. What ever could it be. I hope it stays out a while. I like the cool temps (sorry Sooner) but I was starting to get as dreary as the weather.

Very good point and that is the plan the one's we picked out won't work so I will be going today to get the hasp kind.

Hey what does everyone think about using one of those new coops for quail? I need to figure something out to do with mine. With the number I have, they are getting too big for the brooder. I went to change the water this morning and had three buttons flew across my kitchen. They actually flew, not just coasted. They were getting some lift with their little wings. Luckily the inside cats couldn't care less about birds. They like to watch them but don't bother them at all. I actually have one that will mother the ducklings. But HE will only do it to the ducks. He doesn't want to be around the other breeds.

Speaking of does anyone want some good inside cats. They are both disabled but I don't have time for them. Both male, black and white, one has been neutered. The older, neutered one has been shot twice so we don't let him outside. The younger one was born with his back legs twisted. I love these cats but don't have time for them anymore. I am getting a full-time job that will keep me away from the house for about 60+ hours a week.

I do, but I have no extras and the ones I have are not laying at this time.

I am interested in getting some. Do you think there will be any at the Shawnee show? I'd also be interested in eggs come spring.

Yes, I think there are Serama shown there.

Wow Carah - that is awesome! I saw the photos you posted last night, and I just love these pictures with the little cochins and Maddy in them. I love this setup for bantams!

edited to add - Note to self: You cannot get more chickens, you cannot get more chickens...No, Beth, no!! Quit looking at pictures of more chickens! Stop researching call ducks!! Step away from the poultry catalog!!!
