Great. Now I need to change my avatar, if I can do that while at work.

You could just turn it off until you get a chance to fix it if you want.

Sorry if I ruined your day.

Got a little more information on this Jones processor up here at Gideon and
wanted to pass it along.

If you want him to process your birds, you have to have an explicit appointment
as the VET has to be there to do a health inspection on your birds before
they come in. And, this price of $1.50 per bird only includes, inspection,
dressing and dropping back in your ice chest. They will not be bagged and
frozen. If you want your birds chilled, bagged and frozen, the price is
$2.00 per bird. (This is what Raymond Jones told Bill out at the facility.)

And, of course, we all know, the birds he is raising are fed a special blend
of feed that he has the feed mill grind "just for his purpose". And, it's not
available to the public. So, you can't expect your birds to grow this fast.

Anybody besides us, Sooner/Madison, and Dandelion/Corey/Liz gonna be
showing birds at Fayetteville? Bill talked to them yesterday and sounds
like it's gonna end up being a good sized show. As of yesterday morning,
they had just over 500 entries and am sure more will come in today. Today
at mid-night is the deadline.

Still waiting for some sunshine here..........Na-Na needs it !!!!!!!!!!!! At my
age.......I already have enough wrinkles...........

Have a good one !

Engiekisses,

On the barred rock chicks, I know with Cuckoo Marans the girls are darker than the boys. You had said they had spots on their heads so they should be boys but these two are really dark.

Do you know if the Maran rule works on BR?

I do not know if that works or not, but I read somewhere that when they are really young to look at the coloring on the front of their legs for dark color and the regularity of the circle on their head. I think the irregular pattern on their head means roo and regular circle meant hen. I also remember the articale saying it is not a completely accurate method.

I read books, sleep, cook, sleep, work jigsaw puzzles, sleep......

Don't forget your friends on BYC who don't build cages and need them, so would be willing to buy cages you build. Let me know when you are ready to start taking custom made orders.

Morning all : The DW Laura has a busy day planned, She is going in tomorrow for her last of 14 Colonoscopies in 7 years, her Cancer has been clear for 2 years so this is the one that will end the whole ordeal for us. Bless her heart she has been a trooper through all of this, It has been pretty hard on her with having to get 2 of these every yr.

Looks like a nice day out here today so I think I'll get outside this afternoon and rip up the garden.
