Would a buff brahma work? They're easier to find... (plus I have one I don't need

I want the cochin tail feathers and such... it'd take forever to breed the brahma out

I have no experience with Brahma cocks, but I think they tend to be gentle giants from what I've read of other folk's experiences.

They are very easy going Roosters, not flighty, they take care good care of the girls, just an overall good choice.

Stimpy's line caused me to stop again and consider how quickly technology changes. How many of us when we were younger thought it would ever make sense to say "Forgive the photography, I took them with my phone"?

Okay, I'm still catching up...be back in a jiffy peanut butter!

Did you try Msbear on the forum? I know she has regular columbian cochin. I'll take a gander at my APA yearbook and see if anyone advertises them.

Oh my gosh!! Oh my gosh!! (That's what I'm saying out loud when I look at these pictures!) I don't know why I like Cornish so much...they're kind of weird looking - don't seem quite porportional with the whole short-wide thing going on, and then there's that wicked Asil-ish head. But for some reason I'm drawn to them. Those colors are awesome, Charley! Thanks so much for posting those photos for me - I love 'em and hope you have great luck with them.

Speaking of the APA yearbook, what do you think of that black cochin bantam pullet on the cover? That's a very nice bird.
