I went to the auction tonight and there was a whole family of white rock bantams (1 cockerel and 4 pullets). So long story short, we now have white rocks in LF & Bantam. All nice birds though.

The ducks are growing like crazy cant wait till they get their feathers so i can turn them loose with the others. my silkies havnt started laying yet and we are going to the auction (chupps) saturday are you going? Our french blk copper marans started laying a couple of days ago we are excited. We to have eggs in the bator.

I need help. I'm suffering from auction hangover.

As I have a White Rock Bantam Roo constantly crowing in my living room, I need to go to town to get pen building materials. I realized after I got home last night that the pair of Sebrights I had saw a few weeks ago and had gotten POed at the auction are not the same ones I came home with this time. The other pair had better lacing but I think this pair has better structure. So maybe this is a good thing. They are in molt so they look a little scruffy. Since they came from the same guy, hopefully, they are from the same stock so I can try for the better structure & lacing.

We now have birds for every Bantam class.

I am thinking I need to quit going to the auction for a while and see how the chickens do at the shows before adding any more birds. But what will I do my every other Tuesday nights?
