Carla, I'm really glad it was you that won those eggs! Not that I didn't want others to have the chance at them..... but the whole time I was talking to Patty and getting that brochure ready, I kept thinking "Carla would just love this!"

You need to post pictures

Just turned on the Bears/Cardinals game...

Dang, Al! What happened to your boys?? I know it's only half time but they are trailing by a bundle!

Course I shouldn't talk, since the Cowboys are playing tonight and I may have to eat my words.

Are you using a red or white light in the brooder? For now you can make a ring out of wire cloth, like for cage bottoms, and put the picked on one in there.

Pepper - Bill just looked at your bird pictures. He says those are some
VERY NICE BIRDS !!!!! Well worth the trip !!!!!

Greybear - Keep us posted on Dakota. One of us adults is one thing,
but one of our kids is a whole 'nuther ballgame. Anxious to hear
that they know what's going on and know how to attack it. Prayers
are with all of you.

Cammie - Anxious for an update on your sister, too.

Wishing a speedy recovery for all that are being affected with all
the flu and viruses that are going around. Seems we get over one
thing, and come down with another.

Have a good one !

Gees, seems this one-nighter to Fayetteville pooped us out worse
than the three-dayers we've been to. Guess, since we were all
half sick already, didn't help. But, we survived it....just not worth
a flip today....LOL What cage cards I've found so far:

Again, gotta say that I'm soooooo proud of all our Junior Okies in the BYC.
Their attitudes, efforts, mannorisms - So, Madison, Cory, Liz, Kendra,
and TJ.........you have made us all proud, yet again.

And, Big Q - Your two were watching, listening, helping and learning. You've
had it now !!!!!!!! They're gonna be right in the middle of this very soon.

Have a good one !

I'm not sure what we have available. Most of what we have left we are waiting to separate out the hens from the toms & then sell only extra toms. And then we have 2 bourbon red and 2 royal palm poults that are around a month old for sale.

I called Gerald to check on him & he wasn't too happy when I called ... the dogs were out and the mower wouldn't start & he was mad

I told him to call me back later.

Y'all just about won the show I think!!
So how many birds did y'all wind up taking? I'm counting at least 23!
Did Kendra (TJ??) win the Reserve Featherlegged with that Mottled rooster?

And congratulations on their showmanship wins!

Good afternoon Stray -
I looked at the American Standard of Perfection and the Pea Comb looks like several rows of comb and the buttercup comb is two lines of comb that form a cup. Do you have a chick with multiple combs or are you trying to answer a trivia question?

Stray - I got out my Ideal Poultry book of breeds and it looks like Brahmas have peacombs and feathered feet, Cornish have peacombs and the very distinctive thick legs and neck, Sicilian Buttercups have a comb described as a "cup-shaped crown well set on the center of the skull and surmounted by a complete circle of regular points", and Ameraucanas have a pea comb
