Yeah, I think it might be a good auction to go to. I love all that outdoor & critter stuff.

Well, I wish you could go do both! That's cool you're going to a goat show. I want a fainting goat or two now. I told Gerald he could get me some for our anniversary but he just thinks I'm crazy.

It will be at the OSU extention building at the fair grounds. We have to be there at 5:30. The rabbits start at 6pm with Poultry following.....i have no idea how many rabbit or birds will be there so I don't know how long it will last

I'm doing better than Gerald. Poor thing, this is the third time he's had a throbbing headache, behind an eye ... now it's his other eye. He took some Advil, but it didn't help so I gave him a pain pill.

I was doing great earlier today til just a little while ago starting to ache again. I think this darn virus is hard on us old folks

Of course, it could just be age-related arthritis.

If I could get away with it, I'd just buy some goats & tell Gerald they are his anniversary present. I wonder if that would work?

When I am sick I always do better earlier in the day. I hope you both get to feeling better!

You need to find some then say we could go get these for my aniversary, then it would be hard to say no!

I think I am off to bed guys. I am running on empty. Night all.

My DH understands and I have received bee hive equipment, a brooder, bottle goats, a Great Pyranees, a pond and some chicken pens for birthdays, Valentine's Day, anniversary and Mother's Day. And I love it when he goes hunting in the fall - that is when I get the major construction projects given to me - without any request.

You can use either the "Flock Selecting and Testing Report, VS Form 9-2" that is left with you by the tester or the "NPIP Flock Certificate" coming from the state.

The bands can come from a number of places. All the shows care about is having a number to put on the coop tag and entry form. You can get a band from the tester or purchase one from anyplace that carries them. One of my favorites is Smith Poultry Supplies.

Dandelion, the only poultry we had tested were just the ones that were to be shown in the county show this fall. We didn't get any paperwork on it. He told us we could get the whole flock tested, but that it would be better around January. I just figured the fair testing was good for a short time, like 3 months. We only show at the county level, but would like to show elsewhere also, since the GK's are 5, 6, 6 and 11 years old.
