Old Town - My uncle was just ordained this summer, a few months before he passed away. He was very proud of his work at school, and we were too.

Thanks for the prayers; I know that is what has got me through this year. With finals coming up, and trying to cram everything in to graduate in May, I'm overloaded!

osu - My doctor told me no dairy, which makes sense because even ice cream was making me miserable. But the research I've done hasn't said anything about no dairy. Some sites even recommended yogurt!

After I see this doctor Friday I will have a catscan, hopefully that will bring some good news.

Took my nighttime meds and then Mikey got called out to work. So here I am stoned on Nyquil...I washed the kitchen floor, vaccumed and cleaned the carpets in the living room. and did two loads of laundry. I'm beat...but I feel wonderful.....lol...need to go to sleep. Love you guys..... Even Al....the heartbreaker....

Cammie bison is great.....I want to go halfsies with someone on a cow...maybe when I get a bigger freezer. A guy gave me 5 lbs of frozen ground meat from a show steer they had...It was amazing...no fat and tasted like BEEF!

I've only had Bison once, and I was too little to remember how it tasted. We are talking about raising a few calves to sell for meat, I will let you know if we do! But yes, I think cared-for home-grown beef has the best flavor! Makes excellent roast. Man I'm starving... Stupid diet.

I'm thinking grilled chicken and fruit are going to be my meals for a while. Salad would work, but I have a sensitive stomach to ruffage as it is. Imagine that.

Oh Dandelion, no worries! I'm always a kidder, I don't get offended or angry about hardly anything on the board. Even when we had the whole 'Okie word upset'. Anything I say that comes across as rude or offensive, only meant in good sarcasm! I thought your comment was funny!

I'm about as serious as Monty and Teach Flirting. Lol. My hubby says my shyness mixed with my sarcasm makes me come across as a real jerk. I'm working on that.

Six years of college and all I have to show is a Degree in Bad Sarcasm.

You know money-wise I would buy about a 600lb calf and pasture it out till it hit 8 and then send it off. No corn feeding or anything like that. Would probably go for a Watusi, Longhorn cross.

A friend of mine gets more for the skulls of his Longhorns then he does for the meat!

Faerie, I've worked in retail before and just didn't make it. No matter how tough times get I would not go back to it either.

Through the years I have found that I am more content being outside most of the time and somehow that has always lead me to the trucking industry for the most part. I would much rather be laying on my back in the snow under a truck then dealing with the general public.

Les - That's kinda what we were thinking. We did have some first year Angus heifers that we bred with Longhorns, for the lower birthweight. Suprisingly the calves actually sold fairly well. Its crazy to think that the cattle from the historic cattle drives were Longhorns!

I just found out I have to work Thanksgiving, Black Friday AND Bedlam. The manager is seeing if anyone will trade or something, but if worse comes to worst, she may just write me off that day. Seeing as how I don't get to go back home...
