Well, I moved the light too quickly and lost 3 chicks.

I will go back and start over. Deer season has put a glitch in my chicken thinking. The guy who has the land leased to the south of us parked his wife in the middle of the field to keep the deer from coming on over to my spot. It was pretty obvious it is a wheat field and there was no weapon, just sitting on the ground against a power pole moving around to spook the deer. Deer season does not bring out the best in some people.

Do we have an ad section for Okies? I'm often looking for homes for ducks who come into the local rehabber and the BYC buy/sell/trade is so much more complicated and less user-friendly and active than it used to be before the auction style. If not, is it okay to just mention adoptable fowl here?

chickmommar - ducks that need a home...I am looking for calls! And of course mandarian and woods...so if you see any or yup...if they get snakes I need them for my classroom! Or lizards i really lke reptiles...so if there is anything like that and youare going to Shawnee I will have room for them!!!
