Sooner sounds liek a good one to go to the one that is in Missouri that we go to isnt very good we went saturday and only ended up buying 6 Barred Rocks the rest of the birds were either roosters or not in very good health.

Cammie my kids are going to show 7 birds total, there will be black cochin cock, blue cochin pullet, black silkie hen, a Quail D'Anver Cockerel and 3 Quail D'Anver Pullets, these are the ones that they had picked out and wanted to show so that is what they got!!

Q if you ever want to go maybe I can plan to meet you there. How far is it from you?? I went to the website and they aren't showing the Dec date so I'm not sure they are having it in DEC.

That is great that they are showing all of them. Madison won't show again until Jan at her 4H show.

Good evening everyone!
I have some questions about the show in Shawnee on the 12th and 13th. First, what time does it start and where is it located (at the fairgrounds I hope). Second are there going to be people selling birds? Lastly, how many are going to be going both days. I will probably go both days since I will have to leave early on Saturday. Uli's company is having a big holiday party at the Sheridon, which means I have to get all tarted up (yaaa..). I am really looking forward to going to the show. Unfortunutly the birds I was hoping to show were the ones that disappeared so I am going to gawk and buy if there are any for sale.
Going to head to bed have to get up early for work tomorrow. Hope everyone has a good night!!

Well, personally I am more drawn to egg production. I have my foo foo cochin bantams, and I would like some silkies, but those are pets. I also want something that will work for a living

I also like color.
