Went out and played in the spigot.....I wash my stuff at the one up against the house....hauling the water is easier....Those 3 gallon deals get heavy.....barely froze though...just a little on the surface and the hennies pecked that away....smart girls.
Cheesecake factory has the best cobb salad...didn't get to try the cheesecake though....
My chickens have me fairly PO'ed right now. I just carried 5 gallon buckets of water out there, busted all the ice out of the rubber water dishes, & filled them up in what must be 10 degree weather with the wind chill and they had the nerve to be scared of me because I was all bundled up in coat, hat, & gloves. And all the while they are Struttin around like they are in the Bahamas or somethin, like it's not cold at all.... Even the little ones!! Some nerve I tell ya...

Hi Sooner, bundle up because it is blistering cold out there. If there is anyway you can get out of the wind, the sun feels really good, but otherwise that darn wind seems to be coming off of glaciers in Alaska from every direnction, bbbrrrrrrrr. I just came from outside and I am frozen!
I survived!!! I just had to make one stop, needed another tin to make my last heated water'
Guess it will be fun when I get home to do chores!

Monty....are you trying to assure that your DW NEVER gets started with chickens? You might find out just how warm or COLD your chicken houses really are. She may evict you....and I don't know that your chickens would appreciate having to share their roost with you. LOL
Good afternoon everyone and welcome Josh!!! Teach I will probably take 2 of the single cages. I will let Monty have the double I have plenty from past Rabbit escapades!!! I still have a Quail D'Anver rooster that I will gladly give away if someone is interested and he has already been NPIP tested, and if ya want I will deliver to Shawnee, he is a good looking bird it is just the fact that I have two roosters and only need one and he is probably the feistiest out of the bunch. Sooner you going shopping??? Whatcha gonna buy us???? I will take a sportsman if ya dont mind!!!!
Welcome to a wonderful group of folks, some of whom are addicted to poultry auctions, hatching poultry and acquiring poultry. Disclaimer: if you don't already have said addictions, we heartily invite you to become addicted along with us. So, what kind of chickens/poultry do you have and what would you like to acquire? Between the Shawnee chicken show this weekend and the Blanchard auction on Saturday night, we ought to be able to get you into serious chicken raising.
