I am so glad that we painted the coop a darker colour on the outside... With the sun now out and shining the coop is warming up inside... currently 32 degrees.

Now if only I can get the other birds warmed up also... I swear our geese and duck are cursing us out when we let them out of their pens... lol

ok going back to all this talk about the freezing waterers for the birds, have any of you used a solar powered one that helps keep it from freezing? Since Battery powered models would soak up the battery hence causing a battery change nearly daily, I was looking into maybe a solar power model....

Today is basketball tournament day so every class is a planning period! I could use this time effectively and write my finals and last chapter tests and grade papers...but why do that when a person could chat withchicken folks and drink Dt. Mt. Dew!!!!!!!!!!
