He knows that I hate to go shopping by myself and my friend backed out at the last minute. So I probably won't be doing much shopping. Plus I will be alone with a cranky four-year old. bIt is always a good time to buy more chickens! I'm not sure I can make it until POOPS to get more. I want them now!!! Plus there is too much competition at POOPS, and them crazy peoples tend to get a little wild and crazy when they want a certain bird.

Yea like all them ol ladies that sit in the back and make it a big time bidding war.... I think the auction is rigged though, notice how Al always went looking to them gals that were flapping their numbers all over the place... I am surprized with Cammie that she didnt get a paper cut from being near them...LOL

And of course the raffle was totally rigged! Hey it was fun to watch them fight over the birds though! We seriously need to get some dates set for the next one, so I can get my countdown going.

And that is why I'm not letting the awful day I had at work get to me. I know I will have my cute little fuzzy wuzzy tonight! Which reminds me, has anyone used the little heated hand warmers for birds? I'm thinking of getting a few to stick in the cage with the chicks while I'm at the doctor's office tomorrow. If not, then I will have to leave them in McLoud and pick them up after the appointment and shopping spree.

I have used the hand warmers, but I wouldnt chance it with the temps we have been having.

You think they will get too cold? I thinking of putting a few in there around the edges of the carrier. I will be using one of the little plastic cat carriers. I think that will help to hold some of the heat in. I can also cover part of the carrier with a blanket or something. I probably won't go to the mall or anything like that. They might be left in there for an hour or two at the most.
