Back from dinner and all that jazz... my mom got me a Cuttlebug for my birthday, a scrapbooking die cut/embossing machine. Small, portable, does the small things I'd want to do because I'm not a diehard scrapbooker. Now sitting at the computer catching up on BYC and knitting a Jolly Roger washcloth. Finished the hot pink skull washcloth last night.

I carried water for two days and made an executive decision that it wasn't staying cold long enough to freeze the line - and turned it back on.
With all the snow drifts, we can't get to the well house to turn it off again, so I am going to keep using it and keep my fingers crossed that I don't have a frozen water line. I hate it when hubby is right.

I have been hauling water about 2 weeks now... gallon milk jugs. On warm days I can haul the 3 gallon waterers to the spigot, but that sucks because they weigh so much when they are full, I about get a hernia carrying them back to the pen. It works.... And it is invigorating to be out in the cold.... better that than 125 degree coops in summer.... *sigh*

It'll look like this one when it's finished... except in hot acid green cotton instead of white (and I changed all the moss/seed stitch border to plain garter because I hate seed/moss stitch):

Yes ma'am. It's a washcloth with a knitted skull and crossbones design offset in purl stitch in the middle of the washcloth.

I suck at cooking. My house is a mess because I hate to clean too. Umm... lessee. I have sewing fabric, yarn, and spinning fiber stashed all over the house. J has found yarn on top of HIS fridge at HIS house!

I hate to clean house, am not fond of cooking more than a couple times a week and don't get craft projects finished. My sewing machine is ????? Wherever it is, it has a fleece blanket in the carrier that has a half finished edge. Oh well......
