Been a few days since I last was able to post, been a whirlwind here working on our home project at the moment... Attended a funeral this morning for a friends G ma, we dashed home to pick up... I even had Jason helping for a few moments cleaning up the house before he realized it was causing him to say... "I do declare this house is a mess" and so he quit.

Anyone that might have some between Muskogee & OKC, I will be traveling that direction this weekend.

Hello Dear Okie friends!

I am behind again! DH and I stayed up until after 5 a.m. playing on the new wii. I couldn't believe it when I went to get ready for bed, I was like whoa. Then I started thinking, I should probably get on here, bcs I knew there were probably some early risers already up and chatting, but I decided to go to bed instead, LOL. Well, I had better make sure I don't do that again tonight. I need to get back into normal sleeping habits now that the snow is melting. Although my DH says there might be more on the way. I need to get some things done outside before my break from school is done and also get the DH helps with lots of tasks. We have been working on the inside the last few days, but I am ready for to be back outside again.

I think it has something to do with the number of posts.

Yes, it has to do with the number of posts. It seemed like for me it might have changed around 60, but maybe it was a 100. Once I got on this thread my numbers started jumping. I hardly posted before and would just read, but then I joined the Okie thread and chat all the time, well except lately bcs I have been so busy with the family being home and Christmas and all.

Never got the hang of reading cross stitch charts. Used to get so irritated with myself. Now I buy pretty patterns and that DMC thread for my sister in Arlington TX...

I don't ask her to make them for *me*, I just pick the fantasy cross stitch stuff (faeries and dragons and whatnot) because she and I have the same taste in projects, and she gets a lot of pleasure out of it.

Faerie,

Check out this website:

http://www.mysticstitch.com

They have a HUGE amount of fantasy patterns! (And other types as well.)

There are some absolutely beautiful patterns there. Oh I wish I had more time to stitch we did it when I was young, but maybe not that fancy of ones.

I don't remember exactly either, but there is somewhere on here are some directions to putting pics up. I will see if I can refigure it out again. I also need to add an avatar. I thought I did long time ago, but for some reason it disappeared or something.

But she is at the age where she is supposed to do that. At 5 they are supposed to be kinda shy.

I was a stay at home mom for a few years with our daughter, but when she was around 3 I couldn't take it anymore. She talked non stop and asking 'Why?' all the time. I couldn't even hear myself think anymore, but she was also begging to go to school and I had recruiters pounding down my door at that time. So we looked into schools and found a great one, and I accepted a job. She has calmed down on the chatter for the most part, but sometimes she still talks my ear off. They are just very quizitive when they are young and that is how they learn. Just sometimes we as adults need a break, even me (I talk a lot too and remember my parents always telling me I talk a lot when I was growing up).

Our daughters are close in age. When I make it to the city again we should get together, and let the girls play while we talk silkies and fairies. Our Christmas tree is dangly ornaments and fairies. My daughter and I both like Fairies. She loves Tinker bell!
