Henny....I as you don't agree with some of the things that Garth has done. However, I have the inside line on why he is doing Vegas. He doesn't plan on going on the road until his kids are out of school. He only has to go to Vegas 3 days a week....they bought him and Trisha a plane to fly him back and forth so he can still be at home for the most part. We saw him and his 3 girls a few days ago and he said he has signed a 5 year contract then he would make the decision on what to dol

He is really a good dad to his kids. I've been around them a few times and he is so attentive to them. You can tell he really adores his girls. He has his girls a lot of the time. I saw him even take his oldest daughter to Cato's to shop for school clothes. Cato's was her favorite place to shop. Imagine that.

We all make mistakes....and in defense of Garth...his first wife is quite hard to get along with. So there could be two sides to the story...even thought I never condone having affairs.

He actaully lives between Owasso & Claremore out by keatenville (might be spelled wrong?). I've seen his home, it sits on 640 acres fully chainlink fenced. He also bought another 640 acres across the road for his exwife and his girls. They are in a private school in Owasso. I've seen him twice in Claremore and if you were not paying attention you wouldn't even recognize him.

As for his personal and professional lives, don't get me wrong here, I'm not a religous man, but isn't there something in the bible about letting he who is without sin to cast the first stone? All we really know is what has been publicized by the media or passed around & rumored about by those who are suppsedly 'in the know'. I can't even begin to imagine living the life he has lived and couldn't fathom judging how he has lived it, I've not walked in his shoes.

it is 20x30 and yes it is canvas and it is suppose to be waterproof

That is what we call a GP large ( Tent large general purpose ) If there are no holes or visable deterioration then yes it should last a long while. But it will have to be treated if your plan includes it to be in the sun for months at a time, the UV rays do breakdown the fabric a little. as far as poles go no problem you can use just about any decent 4"x 6' corner post for the sides and some longer 10 footers for the center poles.

You know what they say ...

"never criticize a man until you have walked a mile in his shoes ... that way, when you criticize him, you're a mile away and you have his shoes".

Not a flake of snow here and hoping we dont ready for spring time weather so I can get some projects done!!!

Al the canvas is in like new condition, what do I need to condition it with so that it will not deteriorate as fast??

Hey, where'd everbody go? I swear I took a shower this morning - even used deodorant!

It's not snowing here now. It was earlier, but now we're just getting drizzle. That's worse than snow in my book. I have a 55 mile drive to work - 1-way. I HATE DRIVING ON ICE!!!!!

For that large of an area you may be able to get a waterproofer in a comercial bulk size and apply to the tent when it is up and the fabric taught, then just shoot it with a hose end garden sprayer in full sun, let dry done. Army surplus places online or a drmo military yard may have some or surplus online is even better, if not you can go with a regular civilian type also.
