I am amased you have coons outthere! I thought you were in barren territorty. Guess I need to cruise the stae and see what I'm missing out that way! How are all the new birds doing? Have you got your "chicken yard" finished yet? How will you keep your breeds pure or is it just for layers or young birds?Did you get all you asked for Christmas? Somehow I feel like you were proably spoiled!lol:lau

We watched it Christmas night before my nephew arrived... he hates it with a passion. I never get tired of it.

Thanks for the congrats, City and P&B. We have a houseful of kiddos for the holidays, so it wasn't the most romantic anniversary we have had (tough to beat looking out on a moonlit Pacific from the cliffs at Half Moon Bay, anyway) but it was a wonderful day all the same. Just knowing I'm married to someone like her, and spending the day being thankful for it, was enough for me.

I know where half moon bay is... my Uncle Wes used to live there and build alot of the custom homes you see there.... Have you ever heard of Bethel Island? I lived there personally for a while when I was really little

OS: Our chicken are hating this cold weather... we have only a few chickens that are b rave enough to head out of the coop and actually play in the frozen snow... ha ha

Scarry to think of a 15 year old running and alone. For many of us, its the tough times and failures that help put things in perspective. I've run from God and lifes problems a couple of times myself. Yea I'm a hard headed slow learner with a selfish short term memory. Someday he will see the "footprints in the sand" and realize he was protected and never alone. I think its easier to change our perspective and lifestyles after failing and making bad decisions. When we coast through calm waters I tend to get busy with life and lose focus of my savior and do things my own way. Seems maybe even Garth tends to stray off the path. When we look into other peoples lives its easy to see their right and wrong decisions and behavior. Looking back the worst decisions and moments in my life tend to "put me in my place"--on my knees! I don't enjoy the valley's but I'm thankful once I get out!

Jeannie, David may run but you can be thankful he'll never be alone!

I agree, I remember being in his exact age and trying to figure out who I was among all the drama in this life, but one thing never eluded me and that was I knew who the Lord was and He had to have a plan for me because there are some things in my life that have happened that cant be explained as to why I am here.... but HE knows...

When we were there, I don't remember seeing a whole lot of homes of any kind.

But then my mind was elsewhere.

Good Late Morning Everyone!
Well I only went back a ways so not totally up on what has been happening in the BYC Okie world. Hope everyone is having a wonderful week so far. Sorry to hear about the 15 year old boy who run away. Prayers go out to him and hope he is found a can be in a place he wants to stay. Teenagers have a difficult time now a days, which I believe is in part that some are not productive so their hormones and the chemical changes do not get worked out of their systems properly.

Oh Stimpy Uli and I loved your jokes they were so funny.

Well today is Uli and my anniversery. It has only been one year but it has been the best year of my life. I think we are going to the Warren Theater today since that is where we had our first date. Yesterday his kids came down to visit and met my daughter. It was really nice having all our kids together. All three of them are really wonderful, bright, sweet young adults and we are so proud of them.

Sorry for the ninja post, think I am going to get off here for a while to spend time with my man. Hope everyone has a totally awsome day.
