Q,

I'm doing great. I got my office all changed around today so everything seems backward right now. I'll get used to it in a day or two. I'll tell you what tho, I found out today that I have entirely too many gadgets connected to this computer. I spent most of the time sorting out cables and power cords. I finally just left a bunch of it til tomorrow.

My last mother in law took the easy way out... a gc to a yarn shop

She knew our tastes were too different for me to like the same colors she did (I don't do pastels... I like clear colors, and jewel tones), and she never knew my size. So I always got an emailed GC to one of the most awesome yarn shops online.

So does anyone/everyone have a plan to get ready for the hatching season?
A well known Poultry show guy I know starts hatching in January and February for the birds he plans to show in the fall.

My first plan would be to get all of the slackers to lay.

Stimpy : they should be under edison base cone heaters, like this one.

Hey Monty. Feeling better?

Um... I'm waiting for the hatching season. Hopefully for me it will actually be BUYING season, not *hatching* season.

I really would have liked wood for another coop)

Well since you got a gift card for the nails surely you can get some wood for the coops.

I will start doing my breeding pens tomorrow and start increasing light, changing their feed and all that stuff and I will probably start hatching in another thirty days or so.

Ok everybody....We officially have 7 water warmers finished ....just the silicone drying good. I'm now working on the feeders. However, I wanted some 2 1/2 gallon size buckets and can't find anything to go under the bucket. The only thing I can find is for the 5 gallon one and it's way too big for the smaller buckets. I wanted them for the pens that we only have 5 or 6 birds in and not much room. Any ideas?
