Morning Carah & Stimpy........... I am getting around Ok now LOL, I had to stay up late with the DD she wanted to watch a scary movie with me. I just plan to watch some Football and relax today, not much going on. The work week is going to be long and hard so I am resting up LOL.

Mr. Stimpy how are you today? What do you have planned or are you doing to keep you chair warm today?

I plan to eat too much, watch a couple of westerns before they turn it to football and then eat too much again!

99% sure poor chicken broke his leg...
After killing myself cleaning coops and digging
out runs had a chance to get back to poor chicken.
Found a spot above the lame leg that when touched
chicken will try and pull back. Sorry to all that i scared.
I just do not want something bad like that to happen to my
healthy chickens.
Question now is what to do with the poor thing.. He is eating
and drinking well. I know I can not cull it alone with out someone
here that will help if need be. Not sure if this thing should be left
to lay around.
So my New Years list is to log on more often to BYC....
Maybe buy more Royal Palm Turkey Hens... They seem
to stay out of harms way more..
Have all new chicks have all their vaccine the extra $0.35 cents is worth it..
That said can home breeders give this ?
What about COCCIDIOSIS VACCINE ? Do you guys add this ever when buying baby chicks?

I've been watching the college bowls myself. I hated to see OSU and Arkansas lose, and I hated to see Florida win (I hate Tim Tebow) but other than those games, it's been a pretty good bowl season. Now, if only Alabama beats the tar out of Texas I can die a happy man.

Good morning everyone, it is cold and wind here in north central Ok. we got a light snow last night. Chickens are doing good, accually getting about 6 eggs a day which is up from 1 or 2 a day. Hope all are well and staying warm. Lynn
