I see alot of u guys used to fight roosters. I too had game chickens. I had some roundheads and Hatch. But then they passed that law and that was the end of that. Got rid of all the games. Thats why I like the little oegs, they remind me of my gamefowl. How many of u are ex cock fighters???

Ya know as a kid I always was a sucker for the misfit animals at the shelter I even adopted a cat because I thought for sure it was getting picked on by the other cats because it had a crooked tail.... Now I am a sucker for misfit chickens...

Ok so first off I am going to rant a bit because I am so frustrated about some many other parts of my life right now this is just the brown icing on the proverbial poo cake.
I order chicks from Ideal a couple of weeks ago right before they ran out (apparently). 5 white cochin, 5 black silkie and 5 dark bramhas. Aside from a pasty butt on one of the white cochin everyone was fine except the dark bramhas. All five of them died on my in the last 15 hours. They were all fine Sunday morning, running around, eating, drinking, doing their little chick things. Last night one was looking weak so I put it in the hospital (tiny brooder) it crocked after 1 hour. This morning woke up 3 more dead and the last one just died. This really sucks, I wanted them so bad. Poo on a cracker.
I called and left a message with Ideal but I doubt if they well do anything since it has been over 72 hours since I picked them up at the post office.

Ok sorry for that but I really love dark bramhas and seem to have no luck in getting and keeping any. Oh well I will try again after this batch of chicks I have are a bit older.
Thanks for the rant time, folks... It was greatly appreciated.
