Today my Texas Dad, Tom, had surgery to have a large tumor in his colon removed AND his gall bladder removed. We should know by end of week if the tumor is cancer. So anyway.

Buckguy sent me a PM earlier and when I got on to say hi and catch up we were locked. I'm just thankful we've been granted another reprieve.

Why is it that a 40 lb bucket of kitty litter feels like it weighs more than a 50 lb bag of chicken feed?

Hauling in groceries and supplies from a trip to Sam's. While I was there, some lady tried to poison me. Actually, a misleading label tried to poison me, the lady just insisted that the smoothie mix didn't contain bananas. I believed her after reading the box and not seeing the word "bananas". Apparently "fruit puree, strawberries, peaches" contains... bananas. 3 benadryl later, I'm sitting at home, marveling at the fact that I can't feel my lips.

Think my daughter will be learning to haul feed/water here in a few minutes...

I do have epi-pens on my desk and in my purse, so if it gets any worse than this, I'll use them. But I'm not to that point yet and the chickens are hungry.

However, it was disappointing to realize that "fruit puree" didn't include the strawberries and peaches, it included something altogether different.
