Stimp,
Give me a call when you are ready Friday evening, I would prefer to drive a little extra Friday evening rather than cart the eggs around all day saturday. That should help th ehatch rate anyway.... Carl, see what happens when talk to her.... You all talked her into Ducks thanks guys....

Cool! Another nearby Okie! So, why the name b52fizzle ???? do you work on or fly b52's?

Yep, turkens are good chickens ... especially if they're frizzles! My favorites.

CARLA!!!

I don't know what to say - I am mysteriously drawn to these birds and am weirded out at the same time. LOVE THIS PHOTO! The next time Jack says it's going to frizzle, meaning freezing drizzle, I'm sending him this picture.

You didn't cause the trouble ... just certain birds cause eyebrows to raise on this board, and invariably causes folks to talk about a certain thing which is a banned subject.

I've never bought chickens from eggbid, but have bought eggs many times from eggbid sellers and eBay sellers. No problem. I also sell or have sold eggs on both sites. I also take lots of boxes of eggs to the airport post office, where lots of birds are shipped.

Tuttle post office is great! The ladies there all know me because of my egg & chick addiction

Pine or straw ... I like both

B52fizzle! I can see by the first post you put on this thread that you've either been lurking for a while or are just a helpful person. Your mix of birds is very interesting. I think you'll find a couple of others here who are Turken fans - although that may set you up to be teased if you post photos....some of us pretend to be alarmed whenever we see a turken! Chickens are good. I'm glad you're here! And by the way, we chit-chat a lot and sometimes don't really say much, so jump in and hang on if you like!

Like Carla said - you didn't do anything - we can talk all we want about gamebirds, but we have to stay away from the "C-F" word/subject in our posts. You're okay!

Evening everyone, what a beautiful day it was today!!! I got all my coops cleaned out, but the pens are something else, what a mess!!! I have a question though. During this recent weather change I went from getting 10-12 eggs per day to maybe 1 from my layers, I have a light on them, but I was looking at some poop as I was shoveling and seen some worms, so of course I am in the process of worming with Wazine, so is it the weather or the worms or what???

wouldnt mind gettin frizzles in the bunch, currently i have a cukoo rooster, even has feathers on his legs and then red and black hens with one cukoo hen but she has a large bowtie, and one black and one white rooster, and one white cochin turken hen, trying to get barred/cukoo with feathered legs, crrently my uncle has pretty good barred turkens was up to about 10, but all he raises are turkens, for meat production, but he also has better luck than i, down there in Bethel

I think it's time for me to start collecting their eggs again and put 'em in the incubator .... that way, at the next POOPS event, surely along with Gerald's persuasive personality, we can make sure you go home with a frizzle NN pullet to add to your collection of hens only
