Just in case it's not clear. It sank because they had too many holes in the bottom after killing all the snakes.

Are the babies as poisonous as the adult snakes? I've heard that copperhead babies are.

No, they're not more venomous. They actually have smaller glands than adults, so they store LESS venom. But... they lack control, so if there IS venom in the glands, they just pump it all out.

I put an orloff egg in the incubator, thinking it was from the one pullet that was bred pure and it turned out to be a mutt.

A cute mutt, but still a mutt. Dark burgandy color down with slate legs.

I have a new hatch going on right now. They aren't really due until tomorrow but at least 2 of them are here early.

I've been watching the youngsters that I turned out in the yard a couple of weeks ago. Some of them are really looking good.

I'm about ready to snap my own neck if it won't pop. Driving me crazy. Doesn't help that there's a slipped disc in my neck... it needs to slip right back where it's supposed to be so I can get comfortable again!!!
