I haven't posted for a couple of days but have been lurking and trying to catch up every day. You guys had me laughing at all your posts the other night - I think it was when Teach was in a hotel watching TV and you guys were talking about guns. If I hadn't been laying on the couch already I would have fallen over when I saw Les call The Judge a "small revolver."

(Where do I line up to push Stimpy down a flight of stairs in exchange for a Christmas Card from Sam Elliot?)

Well this was one of those mother things. I fell asleep before Carl had left to go get the boys, so naturally I woke up in the middle of the night with the thought " I wonder if he got the boys". At 1:30 am I woke up and looked at him, he was sound asleep but I guess he felt me wake, I asked him did you get the boys, now just so you know I could have went right back to sleep at this point no problem, but his answer was " OH, crap!". I jumped up to see what time it was and to throw clothes on and he started laughing.. I did not find it funny!. Anyhow he had my mommy strings so tight with those two words that I was wide awake. All I can say is HIS IS COMING! I still dont understand how he was coherent enough to screw with me when he had been asleep too.

Both of those breeds can be feather-sexed with some success in my experience - I've picked pullets out of the straight run bin at Atwoods with those. The wing feathers on the pullets will develop faster than on the cockerals. So if you have a bunch of RIR and BO chicks a few days old, it's likely that the ones with the longer wing feathers are pullets. Don't count on it 100%, but that's been my experience.

As for sex-link, when you put a barred rooster over a red hen all the pullets hatch out red-colored and all the males hatch out black with a spot on the top of their heads, like little BRs. Did I tell him right, Les?

sorry, explain this sex-links. My three breeds are seperated but what is the deal with sex-links?

Somebody can correct me if I'm wrong but I believe sex-links are dual purpose birds. You breed a certain combination and you know as soon as they hatch if you have layers or fryers.

Ha! With Sam Elliot it's a combo of that lean cowboy/biker-tude and his deep voice. He doesn't get a whole lot worse as he gets older, either - although I haven't seen him in anything for awhile.

Thats not nice! Its his voice add that with his eyes and of course like city said the bad boy image, he is just hot!
