Poco wrap the pens in cattle panels. with their 4x4 squares a med to large dog can only get it's head through that and they will not tear up the heavy gauge rod nor break the welds. A cattle panel is 16 feet long and 52" tall so it goes a long way. If you need to cut it either bolt cutters or a torch is needed.

I had the fuel pumped replaced last month, it was located inside the 36 gal tank and I told the Mechanic to also install a new optional screen on it. He may not have done that and I fear the fuel filter is in a tough spot, the whole underside of my truck has 4x4 skid plates attached to the frame down the entire length of the truck. I would have to get the part and put it in myself in this snow and cold as the truck won't stay running and cannot be driven out of the driveway, it will start and run with some prodding on the accelerator but thats it, once it idles it dies. the truck has been a great one especialy for a work truck with 360,000 miles on it so I do keep it up and normally runs just great and not bad enough to get a new one to beat up LOL.

i would try the rat poisened meat balls...... and you really dont have to set them by your coop just in the path they take to your property......and while you are at it put a small pan of anti freeze out there next to it.......they love the sweet stuff

Oh please tell me it's not a 7.3 Powerstroke!! I am working on one now that just refuses to start most of the time.

Ok if a Ford the fuel filter is located on the left frame rail, not bad to get to but there will be pressure on the line so find the fuse for the fuel pump and pull it then start the truck. that will releave the pressure on the line. Next, depending on year, you will need a line disconnect tool to get the fuel lines off of the filter. Just push it into the end of the line and gently pull on the line and it should disconnect.

I would try the filter first and then if it doesn't improve I would get the fault codes pulled.

Often times the best thing to do is to go to Orielley's and have them put a code reader on the vehicle to pull the fault codes which can give you a better starting point.

I think so... It was a pair of Blue Laced Red Wyandottes, not that rare. They were some that I had planned on getting rid of eventually, I dont like their coloring as well as my others.

Thanks Les : It's not a powerstroke, it's a 5.4 ltr V8 and I know about the disconnect tool. Thanks for the presurized line tip. I can't drive it now it just dies when trying to idle so it won't make it the 15 miles to town. Les I think it's a canister filter if Iam not mistaken, and I can hear the in tank fuel pump humming so it's pumping fuel.
