I'll probably be able to offer some next year. This is my first year breeding them and I want to test them to see what they produce.

I bet they have eggs...just guessing though...hi...I had a little too much dew...i think I am about to crash though

P&B - I forgot to tell you that I might know a guy that has button eggs in his 'bator

I let the other bidder win the bid on the two batches of 28 button quail eggs, but did snag a dozen of them for $2. For $2 I will give them another try. I still want to buy some "started" button quail chicks however. I paid $3.25 each for some at Blanchard in January and thought I got a great bargain. Do you think the guy with button quail eggs in his bator would consider selling me some started peeps for about that $3.25 price?

I just wonder if the "guy that has button eggs in his 'bator" remembers when he set them and knows to when they should hatch...

Hi everyone!

I was pretty sure it was Doc using your log-in again. I didn't think you would call me "buddy".

Hmm... not really looking for anything unless I come across some dark welsummer or nice dark marans (BC or Cuckoo) eggs I just can't pass up.

Carla has some very dark cuckoo maran eggs. I like to buy her maran eggs from her "non-cuckoo" marans at the auctions, because the eggs are so dark. I don't bid on the cuckoo marans because those resemble a barred rock and I am not particularly fond of the barred rock coloring.

I have one of her cuckoo marans, posted a photo awhile back of the pulley and her eggs. Good stuffs! I really have enough of everything to be set for awile once I get some breeding pens set up.

I like the pyrex dishes for feeding the rabbits. The price was right, they are easy to clean, and unlike a ceramic bowl - they have a flat bottom so the feed doesn't get tipped over. I tend to look at a lot of containers and think "could I use that for feeding rabbits or chickens?"

Hate it when that happens. It is an odor that is hard to "Fabreeze" away.

7th grade boys are like that also...I have them first hour. Ruins the entire day
