i was wondering....drum roll please.... tulsa weather said no snow till thursday, that this huge storm is going south, ok, so i pull up doppler- that white stuff looks suspiciously like snow and its in the panhandle clear down to texas... hmmmm... are my eyes fooling me?

Again, the forecast does not appear to match the radar. I use weatherbug and the forecast has the snow going South of Central Oklahoma - but I agree that the radar has snow colored precipitation heading into central Oklahoma. Bah Humbug.

Looks like those who are still recovering from the ice storm, in SW Oklahoma, are predicted to pick up 1-3 inches of snow tonight. So sorry guys.

Question - I think that I should try to worm the hens again, before they start laying well when the temps get warmer and the days get longer, since there is a withdrawal period on eggs and why have to toss lots of eggs in a few weeks when I can worm them now and have to toss fewer eggs.

Will the eggs that I would otherwise toss or feed to the critters because of the worm medication be viable hatching eggs?

that is some good stuff.we got some sick chickens one time in a pen.well we ended up puting more in there a few weeks later an they came down sick too so we sprayed it good with oxine an have not had another sick bird. you add it to your waters an you will not have any green left in there.it can be activated an you have to use a resp. to spray it.we used a airless paint sprayer tofog all our houses

Compared to the RIR chicks, the legs appear grayish, but considering the time of night they may also be greenish. Oh, and the wingbands are coming out tomorrow. I hope I don't hurt them when I do it.
