Wow! I've been away from the puter one day and the Okies got all chatty.

I've fallen down on the POOPS t-shirt job. I saw the questions about when and how much. I'll find out how much it's going to cost. I'll try to have an answer by COB tomorrow. I'll get a time estimate too.

Something really weird happened today. I was at Petsmart and they had "Chillin with my peeps" shirts for dogs. Needless to say, I was greatly surprised. Maybe on Friday, my Chihuahua will get her a t-shirt for POOPS too...

bored. Yup, Skyla told TJ that you and she were threatening
to put the baby chicks in Mom's room.......LOL (May have
just been Skyla's plan, but helps to implicate Dad at the
get-go).....happens a lot around here.....Ain't they a blast
at this age???????..............NO.......................LOL But, then,
you're a lot younger than we are..............

I still think it's a total hoot for us to have met on here and
find that we live less than a mile apart.

Hi, I have been under the weather the last few days maybe that is why I let the Self Blue OEG's get by.
Anyway Teach, I don't think there are any lines of bantam Welsummers in the US. There are some breeeders trying to develop them.
Not sure about Marans
The Marans yahoo group, Welsummer yahoo group and darkegg layers yahoo groups may have some answers. I am on all of those boards. I can't recall about bantam Marans but I am not sure there are any of those here either.
Maybe you can make a trip to Paris, (France not Texas) and pick up a few.

HA, TJS na na, that is true, only we didnt try I DID have the chicks in my bedroom lol. One who wassnt doing to well stayed the nite. Skyla told Wahkeetha apparently before I got home that we would put them in here. So when i turn around an say im gonna put them in a box in the room for a while to dry off, they started cackling over it cause apparently Skyla argued with her already lol. Keetha wound up finding me a dropper to give the chick a lil water and later she gave it some when I was alseep, next morning he is as active and healthy as the rest. I will order this eggs and see when the expected deliver date is. If its off by more than 3 weeks id love to get some eggs from you.

You dont have a few POL hens for sale do ya?
