Just got internet up and running again... I guess the snow had my satelite frozen and it just thawed....

Hey honey, are you in stealth mood or stealth mode??? lol...

Just fed "HotDog" Chili Dogs for lunch and now he is in the shower talking about monkeys.... lol

I had a Dark Brahma chick to hatch this morning.... a day late...

All my babies that I put in the barn brooder survived the snow we got last night....

Yuummmm... Those pancakes from IHOP sure sounds good. Use to be our ritual to go to IHOP every sunday morning for a family breakfast, but havent been able to do that much since we bought this house and got critters, and now that Doc's mother in law and nephew moved in,

probably wont in the future...

Coincidentally, the exterminator was just here an hour ago because we have carpenter ants in our house. He'll spray for them. I asked him about the little "sugar" ants we get in the kitchen and told him I put 20 Mule Team Borax on the window sills and in the back part of the counter tops. He said that will get rid of them. He said there is a product for that, but the 20 Mule Team Borax or any other Borax powder you can get will do just as well. It isn't poisonous to humans or household pets.

Thanks for the chart. I was wondering if the white x blue or black would come out splash. I still like the white ones though. I guess I need to get a blue rooster also.

From what I have read, white are unpredictable, unless you totally know their background.

I am taking so many vitamins but my body still aches. I need to get more dairy down but it makes me sick (except butter). Been eating lots of salads and steak and potatoes. Need some good face cream that I can use daily and doesnt feel sticky on my face. Oh and doesnt cost an arm and a leg. Have breakouts but not as much due to the fact I do not let stress get to me any longer. If I feel stressed I get out of the house and do something. Or play with my animals. Stopping smoking is going okay but my dr. said would cause me too much stress too quit cold turkey. I smoke 1 a day usually. You and Uli (misspelled probably) need to get by when you can to see all the new babies. I would order some if I wanted standards.

afternoon everyone! no ants here YET...usually we get swamped with em- tried DE last year- didn't slow em down, will try the 20 mule team this year..

hubby (coop101) and i were talking about rehoming pj the cochin who keeps getting bullied, if someone has a cochin flock, she needs to be with other fluffy feet that won't beat her up.... if not i'll probably get some cochin chicks and add a pen and coop for her

K all its warmed up enough I can go outside and not freeze. Gonna start the 4 wheeler and go clean the chicken house and the lean too. Put hay out for the animals and get out the tractor and put corn in my corn feeder. Its up so high have to use the tractor to lift the bags so I dont have to climb the ladder with the bags. But it is great to have that go off twice daily and feed the animals that are in the pasture. I am starting to have withdrawls from not having any chicks. Might have to go to lumber 2 today and see what they got. But dont have a brooder ready yet. LOL! Have a great afternoon all!!
