So if you blow up a snake in a fruit tree won't it damage the fruit? Just askin?

Velociraptors

Ahhh, but seriously, it is so cool to hear them all talking to each other at night. Hoot hooo .... hoot hooooooo

not if you are of Native American decent. Our English teacher is...um...creek and navajo....i think...anyways it has been very educational. Owl pellets won't be on our dissection area for awhile...bad mojos.

Don't let the Stakinney get ya!

Sure! When's your next trip to the OKC area?

Hey, do you want to make another trip to Missouri for some more cool birds? I'd love to have some Trout Runner Ducks

& then there's some golden pheasants ......

Those are some gorgeous runner ducks. I have never seen that variety in the hatchery catalogs. The pheasants are very pretty also. I need to build another pen suitable for pheasants before I can acquire any adults.

Let's all hope that the weather is cooperative all weekend, whatever plans anyone has.

I am tired of cold and wet.

I noticed that Gerald sort of looks to see who the successful bidder is before POing something and doesn't usually do it if it is a BYC member. We appreciate that

Yeah, Gerald definitely tries to please.

From what I've seen on the weather forecast, Saturday will be nice ... in between chances of measureable snow on Thursday/Friday and Sunday/Monday

Yeah, the Trout Runners are really nice looking. I hear that Holderread's used to sell them, but they aren't on this year's price list. I saw some eggs for sale on eBay last year ... but Gerald said "NO DUCKS"

He used to say no goats too though

Whenever they finish taking my picture!!!!

I am scared to ask which variety of fowl your picture will represent.

No one said anything about fowl! Just perfection.

Yet another hatchery I have never heard of ...... will have to look for their website.
Tell Gerald that the beauty of runner ducks is that they don't fly very well, so aren't likely to get into any stock tanks. I won't say they don't fly at all..... when you are trying to catch them inside an uncovered pen, they can fly straight up and over a 4 foot chainlink fence - much to my surprise.
