Do you have pictures of your polish? I am really curious to see this multi-colored polish.

Kate..the man I got him from at Shawnee show called him a chocolate...but I don't see that. I'll try to get a pic this evening and post it. He's such a sweet bird...not flighty like most polish.

I wonder if it is the same guy I bought my pair from. I bought them at the Shawnee show too and they were Chocolate.

The problem is you cannot breed them legally

This is crazy! I'd never even thought of such!

I read through the whole bill and my understanding is you can breed them and sell them for food. How would anyone know if you ate them? My muscovys bother nothing so I am not getting rid of them. That's ridiculous.

there is a online petition for it GO HERE

Where are you going to order your runners from?

Privett hatchery has good prices that include the shipping cost in the price per bird. I have never ordered from them before, but they have the runners in several colors, the Kacki Campbells and Swedish (but you can't specify black or blue).

Donna : Life is good and the sun is warming my face, I have a good day planned so we shall see LOL. The Samich was way too good, Italian Pastrami, sharp provolone cheese, genoa salami, sharp swiss, and some Copacola hot spiced italian meat, all on dark german wheat bread with mustard and mayo.

AL

Heck Al..you didn't have a samich...you had a smorgesbord...LOL could you email me one

She had told me that there was also going to be a class in Okmulgee this year. I'm on the call back list for that one when the sign-ups start. It is sometime in June, also. I thought the 9th?? I'll have to go back and look in my notes. It was Marie that I had called, too. I spoke to her about 2 weeks ago. Hopefully it hasn't changed!

Shelly

They have recertification classes scheduled in several different places in Oklahoma, but the only two places for new testers are Tahlequah and OKC. This is the first year for them to offer the new tester class in Tahlequah or at any location other than OKC. I have the list, but not with me. I will try to remember to post all the information as to dates and locations.

The "pretend eggs" as Jaxon and I call them won't encourage them to begin laying, but they will encourage them to lay the egg in a location of your choosing rather than their choosing, so you can find the fresh eggs while they are still fresh.

Maribeth...if you are going to have some runners at POOPS I would like to get a few from you if you have extra. I wanted to at the last POOPS and didn't.

Carah...I'm hoping to. I have some in the bator right now ...due in about the 17th. Can't wait to see what colors I get. My roo is so calm I wasn't sure he had it in him to reproduce. LOL...but he's getting the job done. The ones in the bator are very fertile.

I hope it's still pretty after work... I only get an hour between work and class. *sigh*

Just keep your eyes on the prize. You'll get there.
