Congratulations! Not only is he a nice looking roo, but your picture taking capabilities are excellent to get such a fine photo of him.

My favorites are the runner ducks, because they look like a bowling pin with legs and run around as a group, which I find very entertaining. They are also very efficient bug eaters and you don't have to worry about them flying off, although they can fly straight up and out for a short distance if startled.

Not going to Chupps because Saturday is the bantam show at Pryor. You might want to make it there. I'll be there with silkies to show and for sale. Other really good silkie breeders will also be showing and may bring a few to sell too. Prices at Chupps will be lower, but quality at Pryor higher.

I bought some fawn runners from Chickensandmore at the Spring 2009 POOPS and sold 14 runners at the Fall 2009 POOPS. I have eggs in the incubator, so hope to be hatching some soon. I want to place an order for a different color of runners, for delivery in late April, so would be able to add some to my order and bring them May 1 if you just want a few and don't want fawn colored ones.

Yeah, but they fly. Which is a big no no. I'd have to clip their flight feathers to make sure they didn't get into my neighbors' yards, and that would leave them very vulnerable.
