Matt as was said, first check them for Gape Worm and Canker. Have they been wormed at all and if so what was used on them?

Keep an eye out for any swelling of the facial area, runny/bubbly eyes or nose or labored breathing. Those are the classical signs of a resp. disease. Almost all of them have the same symptoms but there are subtle differences that seperate them.

Teach you sound like a professional welder, that's how I do it! That is what I like about welding, if ya cut it too short just weld that piece back on and try again. Try that with a board!!

I am a professional oops...um...get me a clamp....turn up the juice...wow...not that much....do you smell something...I smell something...my leg is on fire!

I don't have the best of stuff but it is amazing what you can do with a little cracker box and cutting rig! I play....wish i had jigs and more space but I make do...welds aren't pretty but they hold!

When I hit the lotto I am gona get me a mig welder! you can really build up material with one of them!!!

time to play phase 10! I hate that game but love my kids! At least they aren't asking me to play rubicube or whatever that game is....they drive me nuts! I can see the patterns and such and they just struggle...and I am talking about my wife!

Yep, this is the "Hi Jacker".

We have been so busy yesterday and today that we are already slowing down today, NO energy. We got the hog butchered, 2 of the 6 pens finished, 2 more half way, 3 lights wired and 3 receptacles. Still have to finish the other pens before Peaches lets me go fishing (take her too).

Peaches can't talk about anything except POOPS and everyone that is going to be there. We saw the pictures from Blanchard, sure wish we could have been there, just couldn't make it too. Funny thing about the pics, every picture of Maribeth, her mouth was open, imagine that!

I'm saving up for a Miller brand that will weld 1/2in steel in a single pass. Those don't come cheap!

Here at the house I have an older Lincoln Pipeliner that still does a great job. I used one of the newer Lincoln Ranger 10s and I was not impressed with it at all. It seems the exciter takes a long time to rev up the engine so you can weld and you end up with a sticking rod.

Hi-Jacker - what can I say? The only thing I did more than talking at Blanchard, was laugh.

Les, aren't those big welders for using as a generator when the electricity goes out?

Teach, I was showing a couple of young neighbor girls your mille de fleur chickens this evening and one girl was concerned because she couldn't see the head on one bird and was half convinced it had died. The young lady was quite started when the hen pulled her head from beneath her wing, where she had put it while she slept. I love showing the critters to "city" kids.
