Guess what???????? There is a pair of CRELE MARANS in our barn RIGHT NOW.
They are beautiful and breeding because one of their offspring are in the next cage, a cockrel.

We have some of the prettiest Standard Buff Brahmas I've seen, Americanas too.
Porcelein De' Uccles (2 hens)
Spangled OEG trio
Chocolate Blues Americanas
Gold Straws
Grey Straws
Buff Straws
Spangled Standard (2 Roosters)

Just to name a few.

duckling have dumped their water a couple times already- heard to cut a hole in the side of a bottle so they can dip their beaks in without dumping it.... will be trying that

I wouldn't blame you if you decided to cancel, though. I don't want to see you guys lose money. Do what you think is best and don't worry about us. We will support you no matter what. But we will be there if it is a go, and will be bringing a couple of friends.

That Cotton Electric ad won't run until the 25th, by the way. Paper only comes out once a month. I guess it is going to run every month right after your auction, which is too bad. It would be nice if it ran just before your auction. But, at least it's something.

My plan was to just start hatching like crazy till mid summer, cull heavy and see what I get to work with. Then I am hatching loads for POOPS donation auction and Raffle. I need some WR Hatching eggs......... so what can we work out Keith, I need some of yours.

Good morning. It is still monring, right? Oh well. The ground is covered in white stuff and they wind is blowing. I stayed in bed until 10:00 and DH is still there. The kids have been playing quietly all morning. I never heard a peep from them. The birds are enjoying the snow, I sppose. They are out running around.

I have 4 dozen that go to the hatcher today, and have a b_ttload of eggs coming in the mail this week around Wed/Thurs, and I have already started collecting from my own stock again this week.

The great news is My Cornish ladies have started laying, I even have a dozen eggs with a WR Rooster over 2 White Standard Cornish ladies, so I am excited to see what comes of that.
