I just put two dozen in the bator this morning but I have lots of room left. Getting them is the problem, the roads around here are pretty bad right now.

Steph, I just looked up Chupps. It is more than 3 hours for us and the 3rd is the implement sale here.
I don't know if Doc has to be there or not for the tractor being consigned. I went to the Chupps website
and it looks huge. I will let you know if MAYBE, just maybe we can go.

Thanks Al - I only wish you were closer to me - I have some Big Projects you would be just The Man for! She is in a book "100 Tulsa Historic Homes." She has quite a history - there was a tunnel running from my basement down to the Arkansas river, where Mr. Rose the Bootlegger once smuggled booze. (Said tunnel has been filled in for years, and NO! I am not going to excavate!)

I would love to hear some of the stories of the history of the house, I have always been interested in them. When I was a kid growing up in Chicago there were so many old grand Victorians with really cool history. The neighborhood where I grew up was in the Frank Loyd Wright district and Ernest Hemmingway owned a home 2 blocks away, The radio Icon Paul Harvey was my next door neighbor.

But you missed the best part. Doc was selling a Black Frizzle Rooster and someone in the back out of his sight
was bidding on it. He was ready to write the bidder number on the cage when my number was called,
he almost chocked.

You lived next to Paul Harvey?!!

You know he was originally from Tulsa - his boyhood home is not far from me - just on the other side of downtown. I'm sorry to say that old house has not been taken care of and it's now sad.

Here's a photo of my house - can you guess which date this picture was taken?

It was me that asked if anyone else was going to Chupps, lots of fun and lots of good food and lots of chickens and lots of other stuff for everyone!!
