Chainlink is really heavy when you are trying to fence 8 feet in the air.

LOL, I only do the 4' around the bottom, use chicken wire when taller than that. We are short people so none of my pens are 8'.

Actually inside height will only 6 ft. I am thinking about using some used material. I checked the price of new hardware cloth to do all the pens and it will be about $1,000 just for the wire.

It's great as long as they aren't selling junk.

But this is about the biggest poultry auction in the SW OK area. Fletcher is gaining on them, though, and may surpass them some day.

Maybe because they don't sell junk.

Which way will you be coming from? Depending on which way you come through town, it is on the southwest end of Blanchard off highway 62 and you turn south at the rodeo grounds, drive a quarter mile or so and it is on the left in a big purple barn. Sale starts at 5.

looking for camera but its not to be found...
She is in the garage now in a small pen with food
and water. She has stopped that nasty noise and
the blood seems to have stopped. She is just standing
in the pen.
If anyone has a thought shoot it to me. Nothing or
no one has been near them. Same food from the same
feed store.

I should have also mentioned it is a great place to meet and greet fellow BYC Okies from this very thread. It is worth attending for that reason alone. They tend to reserve a table back toward the northeast corner of the building, a number of them often wearing their POOPS shirts.

That stands for People of Oklahoma Poultry Swap, a semi-annual event that just happens to be coming up in on May 1st. It is put together and attended largely by the folks in this fine thread.

And attendance is FREE!

Starting to dilike my October's attitude. How do you control a Roo? or is that just wishful thinking?
Also I'd asked this before but were we ever supposed to get anything from the NPIP thing?

And, of course, welcome!!!!!!!!!
