Lauren is 4, so there is at least one other kid. Last Fall, there were several young ladies. Most of them ran around together and played all day long. I hardly saw Lauren all day, she was so busy with her new friends.

Aurora will be with us and she had a ball with the girls last Fall. She won't be three until the end of June but she big for her age and advance so very one thinks she older. She loved playing with Lauren and the other kids.

Teach your like me ,you just think you don't have enough of everything.!lol If I had the means I would have to have one of those big Tyson farms aith ten chicken houses to keep everything in!lol.(I always wanted an old chicken house for just taht reason. Talking coop BIG time!lol)

I finally uploaded the hen apron pictures. The first one shows the underside and the topside of an apron. I suppose they could be worn with either side showing. Hey! That's a feature. They're reversible! The second picture shows a SS wearing an apron. She's the favorite this season, as evidenced by her scruffy wing feathers. I'm still trying to find a way to make a wing protector that she will wear.

I can make a modified apron with elastic that crosses in the front rather than looping over the wing for birds that wiggle out of aprons. My birds hate elastic that goes around the neck, and some jump backwards until I get scared they're going to hurt themselves, so I back down and put the regular aprons back on them. I haven't really had trouble keeping aprons on hens with just the two loops of elastic. I suggest interested parties try them on their birds to see which they like best (the birds should vote too).

The OKC ordinances regarding poultry aren't online - at least I couldn't find it anywhere, although I did find the rule about "no chickens unless you have at least an acre" referenced in more than one article. I know chkchkchkee and other BYC'ers in the OKC area are working on doing what they can to get those rules changed.
