Hello Queen. I'm doing pretty good. Waiting for sleeping meds to take hold!lolSorry for taking so long to answer I was over on the Ok craigslist looking at real estate and Health care jobs! My wife says I just don't give up!lol

No I was just hoping to see some of his fine birds. Now if it was a bantam turken we would have to talk. I got two nn bantam ladies that would like a roo! (or at least I would like for them to have a roo!hehehe)

Lighting sorry for the sadness in the family ,be careful with all that traffic. I've been to Mena. Have some neices and nephews still there. My brother was the first police officer killed in the line of duty in Mena(Polk county,Ark,)Its beautiful country down there.

Doodle, I won't guarantee that he isn't a bantam. He is very small stature and about the size of a 4 month old LF pullet and has button spurs.

Lightning sorry to hear about your friend. Death is never easy to take no matter the situation or relation.
Our prayers are with you and your family. If there is anything that we can do please let us know.

Well then I may have to check him out. My roo that died was a bantam but he was almost half the size of a regular one! Almost too large I thought,

So do you get "caught" with a bunch of birds at the auction very often. Like when no one wants to bid or something. I've seen Auctioneers get caught with lots of no sales before.

OH NO!!!!!!!! You have to let Peaches tell you the story behind that one. It has something to do with Opie and the NN roo. Just let her tell you the story and be ready to laugh. She can be devious too. Maybe that why we get along so well.

What size real esate and what medical field are you looking to find? I do know where there are both at this time.Hi-Jacker

I am always checking out for DON(Director of Nurses) positions for my wife. And I look at all the places for sale jsut dreaming about how I could make them work!lol. convinced that the way to go on realestate is to have access to a bundle and catch some of those quick sales. Most are handy man type of places but still doable. Ans sometimes you can get a little acreage too. Oh well ,maybe someday!lol
Guess I'd better turn in ,starting to blink off and on! Catch everyone in the morning!

I need to start putting everything in one place and making lists of other things that can't be put into bags - so I will be ready for POOPS.

I am going to have to make two trips with the magic poultry van - or pull a trailer. Since I am so close - I will just bring some of the auction stuff on Friday night and the birds and rabbits and bee stuff on Saturday morning.

guess i'm up first! question on the ducklings- they are almost completely feathered now, but with the low night temps am keeping them in the house at nite- when can they be permanant outside residents?? i have a mini enclosure in the chicken run, they should be fine in that?

starting to pile stuff together for poops... should we bring a canopy of any sort? i'll have a table and chairs, whats the weather supposed to be??last nite they were talking nasty storms friday

Morning, Robin,

I just peeked to see if anyone is online. I don't keep ducks, so I don't know what they can tolerate.

I'm still figuring out how to get the last few birds in my car. Cages are ready, but some chickens will have to share space that they are not used to sharing. I'm putting a few groups together today after work to be sure everyone gets along. I don't think I can handle two hours of "He's touching me! Stop touching me!"

I love your note cards. I'm interested in getting some for myself and some as a gift for my mom. She's visiting from New Mexico this summer. She's a retired teacher and loves all things creative. I know she'll really enjoy your cards.

Just moved another small group of completely dry chicks from the incubator to the brooder. My own flock is hatching well, but my shipped eggs are two for twenty-four. I'm not hopeful. I've already contacted the breeder with my concerns. I'm not sure how that's going to work out.

Have a super day. I'm off to administer more state mandated end of instruction tests. Wish I could grade papers at the same time. Maybe in a perfect world that could happen.
