Henny I hope there weren't too many stitches! Hurts the same tho. We're going to have to get a dr on byc to take care of all of us!

I got to put eggs under my second silkie today. Put in a mix of silkie and ee bantams. I'm sure pretty soon I will have setters every where. I have to move mine into individual coops to ste, other wise they go back to the first batch of eggs they find.

We are haveing a big Amish auction near here in Kentucy this weekend. I sure hope I can kick this flu bug before then. They sell poultry from 9am till 6-7 pm sometimes with two auctioneers going at the same time! I hope to get some runner odr call ducks and some chinese owl pigeons this time.

TJ's na na-LOL......I have already seen some of their birds. I was at the show a month ago here in Cherokee Co. I went out to visit with kenny but he was so busy I never did get to visit with him. I did get to watch most of the judging though and to my surprise I was actually impressed with the overall quality of the all those kids birds. I do not remember anything that just made me shiver because it was so bad. Even as cranky as I am, it did me good to see such youg kids actually enjoying their chickens. If I can be of any help just ask.

I was really looking forward to going to the poops thingy. I usually don't know from one day to the next what I am going to be doing, but there was something about April 25. I knew there was something I was suppose to be doing that weekend. As I was sitting here reading through the pages I remembered!

I am getting married that saturday!!!! LOL Well, I knew there was something. I am actually getting re-married, that is our 25th aniversary. My family will all be in from Indiana. We are going to have a big blowout here in Briggs, america. We are going to have an interesting ceremony. My half will be Norse Viking, and hers will be Cherokee. The ceremony will be in old norse and cherokee. The blending of the cultures.
Truth be told I would much rather be chickeneering somewhere....shhhhh.

Whoever said we need a doc on byc to take care of us isnt joking. Henny, im sorry to hear you hurt yourself. Though it hurts im glad it was just the tip. I bet you at least get a realy cool scar to show people, i get a limp for a week.

Oh Henny - I cringed when I read your post......from lots
of experience.

My ex had occasion to visit with Bill. He told Bill, "ok, whatever,
but take some advice, don't ever give her a sharp knife."
I can shovel dookie, drive most anything that has a steering
wheel, worked in a machine shop, and am pretty darned
good in the hay field, raking or baling...........but, don't give
me a sharp knife. I don't know how/why, but I'll manage
to cut myself. Hum........that wasn't a good idea........
admitting something like that if I get to go to the POOPS
meet and bring something to eat...........LOL

Wish I was closer and could cover some of your chores
tomorrow. Take care of it. You HAVE had "your" tetanus
shot......??????????.........LOL

Try to.......Have a good one !

KT - take care of yourself girl! Gonna take away your whitlin' chit card if you ain't more careful!

Hey ya'll. Not real talkative tonight. I usually have pages to read when I have class. Watch it no remarks about me not having any class now! I get that from folks all the time. Surprising huh!?!

Charter - you know the perfect honeymoon could include chickens! Wives just love that type of stuff!

I might have talked my wife into going! Okay she isn't so sure about sending me out unsupervised. Might have a buddy talked into coming as well...

Charter - CONGRATULATIONS !!!!! What a beautiful
occasion to celebrate....wishing you a wonderful day and
many more.

I read your post to Bill and we wondered.....at the last
Cherokee County Show, there was a tall gentleman walked
up just as Bill was coming back over to where the kids and
I were. He visited with Bill about TJ's show boxes and the
birds, and then went on visiting with others. Since Bill
knows most everyone in Cherokee County, I asked him
after he left, "who was that?"......He said, "I don't guess
I know him." In this small world.........could that have
been you? Of course, if you were there, you probably
know who TJ is...........He's only 10 and knows more
people around here than we do..............He's sooooo
full of "it", may be governor one of these days.....LOL

We do reserve the right to "holler".......................

Have a good one !
