Teach -
The white stuff falling from the sky has a little bit of moisture in it. Not as much as rain perhaps, but it will help settle the dust.

I have Flemish Giant rabbits but have not yet been successful in getting a litter of them yet, so don't have any for sale. Sorry.

The Lumber 2 at S. Sooner and I240 in OKC had some last week - $40 each. I have so far managed to avoid going over there to drool.

Stimpy -
My original NZ stock all came from the same breeder and I don't know which of the does are sisters/cousins/etc. If Chickens and More knows his are "unrelated" he might be a better source. I cross breed some of my NZ with a California or Flemish buck for meat rabbits, but haven't kept any of the kits for new breeding stock.

I just called Marie at the Department of Ag and confirmed my reservation for the June 12 NPIP testing certification class.

The information I received from the Dept of Ag indicated this would be the only NEW TESTER CERTIFICATION class until March or April of 2010

If you want to get certified to be a NPIP tester, call Marie Edgemon at 405-522-6139. The cost of the class and certification is a total of $35 and you will need to bring 2 birds to the class.

On Saturday April 4, there will be a chicken school in the Fayetteville Public Library from 1:00 til 4:00 sponsored by the extension service. Topics will be Breeds, Housing, and Diseases. There are no preregistration requirements so I doubt you will be kicked out if you show up. It is aimed at the small flock owners, not the big commercial boys.

Poultry and bees...what kind of wabbits could you get me and how much? He won't care what the breed is as long as they get fairly big! He wants to have some big hoppy wabbits.

I will call and confirm the class next week.

No white stuff just a dampness all about! I still maintain the sky is falling and the world is going crazy!!!

Teach - I have some young Flemish x mutts that should get fairly big, judging by their bone structure. I may not be able to get my Flemish does to breed successfully, but the Flemish bucks haven't had the same problem.

If he isn't particular about color, I have a white with gold spotted doe and some dark sandy colored bunnies (sorry, haven't checked to see if they are wearing blue or pink ribbons) that I would sell for $15 each. They were born in December, so they are still growing.
