Good Morning Okies!!!

I worked digging holes to plant Crape Myrtle tree's for some additional shade on the west side of the house since all that rain was heading our way, well guess what? I had to go water those darn things this morning! We didn't get a drop!!!

Betsy congrats on the showgirl!! Can't wait to see them at a show!

I want to take the time to thank all of you for your well wishes & Prayers concerning our DD Alyssa medical condition. We all went to the Doctors consultation yesterday and it was extremely devestaing news for us, I don't know if I feel comfortable talking about the details online. The news was much worst than we could have ever expected and has hit the 3 us very hard, we spent most of the day together yesterday in shock and alot of tears, she is a tough little girl and will need her Mom & Dad to really come through for her on this one. Laura & I are taking it hard as you can all imagine, it's just not fair Alyssa is such a great kid with a great life ahead of her. So now we as a family must take the time to talk this over and try to decide what is best for her, sorry I can't be more specific but this is hard enough on us and can't really be splayed all over the net.

Thank you all again so much, we will be spending much more time talking to the man upstairs.

Thanks again, I am really packed up at work these day's, I don't plan to take any day's off but will have a talk with my foreman today to see if he can handle more responsibility so I can have a few hours during the day. We have had a little trip planned for Alyssa's Birthday this month, she turns sweet 16 on the 14 th, so we may try and make it extra special for her. Other than that we think it's important to try and go on as normal and not fall into a family depression, she is going to need us to lean on.

AL

Thank you, to all the well wishers

TJ's Na-Na :

Grace - Sounds Super !!! Now, deep breath and
know..........you're looking at hassle, hassle, and
a little more hassle...... Tell 'em twice...and then
holler.....HELP !!! You'll do super, just hold your
guns.

Thanks, Eulaine! I've never "run things" before, but I have "helped" for the past few years, so at least I have a pretty good idea of what I'm up against. It seams like my main trouble is going to be stopping early coop outs....

Wasn't it less than a year ago that the first Lav. Showgirl ever was hatched? Wow! You may help create this breed/variety!

I t wasn't long ago, for sure. My silkies and Showgirls are mainly from her lines, and she's been a huge help to me. I have mixed in some other really good blood lines.

Grace, we're all very proud of you and know you'll do well in your new position.

Maribeth, my guinea keets should start hatching about the 18th of July. So far this season, they've been mostly slates, violets, royal purples, and lavenders, with an occasional pearl gray.
