Well, I was up at 3 am this morning, and we left for the airport. Such a suprise when we got there, that we found out Doc's flight was Cancelled. We rescheduled for this morning at 9:45 am. So the good Lord blessed us with the opportunity to spend a little longer with each other.


I was pulling up our long driveway, up to our house, when I recieved a text from him saying he was at Dallas. It was hard to come into our house. It seemed so empty.

Just talked with him on the phone and His next flight leaves for Atlanta Ga around noon.

Was able to snap a few shots at the airport. This one you have to love!

LOL's from the do it yourselfer.

I decided to make my own 2 gallon feeder. Everything was fine until I made the holes on the bottom of the bucket too big. The chickens scattered the pellets everywhere and are furiously digging the pellets back up off the ground. Fortunately my first attempt only had 4 small (1-1/2") holes in it and it does a better job of metering out the chick chow. I also discovered one feeder is more than enough for my meager 21 birds.
