Although I have given Gatorade to a Llama that was suffering from heat stroke, with some success, I think I will refrain from consuming the electolytes I am putting the water for my poultry and animals. My package has really big letters that say "not for human consumption" so I am reminded of the words of my mother as to why we shouldn't nibble on the dog's dry dog food - "it isn't made with the same level of hygeine and purity that people food is made with."
I agree, if I can't fix something with gorrilla glue or duct tape, it is just in too many pieces to bother with. I noticed that one of the carriers I took ducks in last night was cracked when I brought it home, so it will get mended with gorilla glue this week.
Have you ever tried "gorilla tape?" That is some tough stuff.
Since I did chores last night after it cooled down, and didn't finish until after 4 this morning, I am going to sign off and take a nap during this heat.
I am thinking my routine this week will be come home from work, take a nap and then do feeding and watering between 11 - 1 when it is cooler.
But But dog biscuits are so um..... Never mind!! (and for the record Don't drink the chickens electrolytes
