Have chicks hatching from eggs I acquired at the Blanchard auction in June. I had about 15 frizzle turkens and some Olive Eggers under a hen and she hatched a couple handfuls last night of yellow acorn headed chicks and some EEs, so I added a couple Olive Eggers that hatched in the incubator to her group and will give her some more when the chicks hatching in the incubator dry out a little. I sure do like the broody hen method of raising chicks.

The rest of those eggs from that auction went into the Sportsman on a Monday, so hopefully, I will have assorted Maran chicks this week as well.

I agree, if I can't fix something with gorrilla glue or duct tape, it is just in too many pieces to bother with. I noticed that one of the carriers I took ducks in last night was cracked when I brought it home, so it will get mended with gorilla glue this week.

Have you ever tried "gorilla tape?" That is some tough stuff.

Since I did chores last night after it cooled down, and didn't finish until after 4 this morning, I am going to sign off and take a nap during this heat.

I am thinking my routine this week will be come home from work, take a nap and then do feeding and watering between 11 - 1 when it is cooler.
