Thanks Ya'll !!!

I think I will start with Neosporin since I have that in the house & don't have to go hunt in the barn for something that may not be out there. I will pick up some BueKote Monday at the feed store, never fails that I will be out of something that I need on the weekend. I guess I will have to name this one since it will be hanging out in the house with us for a while.

I might try that later with some vet wrap but this poor thing would have it's entire head wrapped, I think I will see if it makes it tonight before I worry about wrapping it.

POCO if you pop on tonight, any chance you could post the outline for the chicken apron you make?

Well if he has that raptor look I wouldn't worry about him trying to flog you, but they do sometimes give little love bites!

Robin do you have any Vet Wrap? works really well on things like that and will stick to itself like velcro does. Nice open mesh to it too.

If the wound is clean there should really be no need for antibiotics, just watch the leg for heat which will be the first sign of infection setting in.

He's not tried biting. He's still a baby.

It seems from the time mine come out of the shell they will nip at me. Not hard mind you and it seems to be an affection thing instead of agression. With an agressive bite there is a loss of skin! LOL

This one was a later hatch than his bigger brothers so he's not gotten onery... yet...

Now one of the big brothers did get a good hold on my arm when I picked him up, but it was because I startled him. He hasn't done it since.

Well I had to swap out the breaker box in the house today. Last night we had a glow-in-the-dark main breaker. Not a good situation.

But now it's bed time. See ya'lls tomorrow.

Just got home from the Blanchard auction. I left early because when I stopped on the way at Sonic, my driver's side window decided it would no longer operate. Since it seemed to be getting cloudy, I didn't want to chance having to drive home in the rain with the driver's window open. It is always something.

Had a nice visit with Muesky and MMPoultry. MMPoultry's daughter is absolutely beautiful - both inside and out. She is a real sweetheart.

Got to say hello to Graybear and family, Michael Daugherty, Carla and Gerald, Junebug and spouse, Modernman, and of course Jerry - at Blanchard. It was definately a night to be buying rather than selling. Muesky probably got the buy of the night on her peachick.

Have to be up early so am heading to bed. With the 10 Narragansett turkey poults I bought tonight for less than $3.50 each, my quarantine cages are officially full for the next month.

That sounds like a very dangerous situation. Glad you were able to correct it before your home burned and/or someone was injured.

I am finally home as well and I must say I had the best time I have had in years literally. There were actually people around me that were not judgemental, I got some of Carla's Turkeys

Over all I think I had the best time of my life. I even got to help everyone Load there stuff (even people I didn't know I love to work) And i think I found a market for my feed. (even though I was insulted at first.) It was actually funny the guy said where did you get this the elevator floor. then he had me stand infront of the auction like a school boy in trouble, and asked if anyone wanted feed no one anwsered. 20 min later I had tons of people asking me if they could please get a buisness card lol. Words can't express how I feel inside I finally felt Like I fit in. I am a pretty strong fella but I even shed a tear of joy on the drive home. (ok truth is I shed a river But hey we needed rain right?
I better get these birds situated I am so exited
