Doc mentioned we are going try some different meds, then mumbled something about "other options that we won't discuss until farther on down the road". I'm thinking surgery.

That wouldn't happen to be the Maroon Bells, would it?

I have a special fondness for those mountains for some reason.

Yes! White River National Forest. It's beautiful there.

P&B

Yes, it was the puppy from the Auction. I left him and my Other dog out while I was gone. Matt came by yesterday and said the pup was on my porch. Then today when I got home it was gone. I called and called but nothing. We will see if it surfaces tomorrow.

MICHAEL,

Thanks. I look forward to seeing several Saturday.

IF anyone has any thing they want to consign for Saturday, please let me know so I can advertise it.

Thanks for the info, I'm building some new areas for chickens and was considering moving the flock to the first new area but may rethink that till I know that they won't be giving anything to new birds that will eventually be living in runs that adjoin the area I was going to put them in, I hit the motherload for pallets yesterday I'm going to build the next few coops out of them and answered 2 craiglists ads for a total haul of well over a hundred LOL That will keep me working out in the heat for a while

No, I just sold them all to the same guy. I will have a singular Buckeye roo that I'll be bringing to the Fletcher auction. He's a pretty-boy with one of the nicer tails I've had so far. There don't seem to be many auctions up here in the Tulsa area, which is entirely too bad since it really needs it.

OH Great a lady next door is wontn to buy one to cross over her hen's , Iv ben lookn for her one at the sale's but the only one i seen was the one Buster got..An i think it came from you guy's..She said her grandad had some an they wer real harty bird's....

We've really been enjoying them so far. Their pea combs and small wattles (I think that's the right word) make them really cold-tolerant. Even here in OK it got cold enough last winter that one of our Australorp roos got a little frostbite on his comb when we were having the ice storms! Not an experience that we are looking to repeat. They are doing great in the heat too. Nothing seems to phase them, they take it all in stride.

Good morning Okie peeps...

I am sad today. Vern found one of my favorite hens, a bantam mille fluer cochin hen dead this morning.

He said it looked like she just died and fell off the roost.
