Let your voice be heard! Vote!
"In what election?" you may ask. Well, the McMurray Hatchery Photo contest, of course!
There are hundreds of pictures (quite a few of which are mine

) entered, and they ask that poultry lovers vote for their favorites!
There are three categories, and I would like to give you examples of each. These example pictures are some I took, and if you like them, I would like for you to rate them while you are there

Hi Michael!! How are you this evening! Yes I am planning to come to the Blanchard auction, I have some birds I need to get rid of. I would venture to guess that Matt has been texting your daughter. Now that I heard about the big shin dig at Fletcher I wish I had waited to make plans but who knows I might just sneak down there too.....only time will tell.

Is it starting to feel like the movie "Groundhog Day"? Every chance I get to talk with

Peaches it sounds like a broken record, HOT, HOT, and but the way, did I tell you, HOT.

My current assignment is in Kabul. We had a high yesterday of 83. We have to travel

across the country and believe me, I am so glad when we touch-down back in Kabul.

Hi Ya'll,

Ok so I have a question and need some chicken expert advice. I was looking up the coop, checking on the chicks when I saw one of my salmon faverolle pullets all hunched down with her feathers ruffled. I get her out of the pen, carrying her into the house when I go to scratch her under the chin and find she has no lower beak. It is broke or what ever clear to the jaw. I do not know what to do or if there is anything to do. I can not tell how old this is or how it could have happened.

I just want to cry, cause I do not know what to do to help her.
Any advice would be appreciated.

Thanks,
R

Thanks for checking for me Les. No I have never used a crop tube. I was thinking about giving her some food that was watery and maybe that would keep her strength up. She can drink water but it is very difficult for her. I am afraid of using an eyedropper because I do not want to get fluid in her lungs.
Once again thanks,
R
