Betsy what a surprise!
I knew my OEGB boys seam to mature faster in "looks", but I was not sure if they were able to mate sooner.
Once I had the tiniest little OEGB that still had half his baby fluff, but already had a big red comb! He looked so funny!

Hi Monty! I'm really not sure. I know I'll be staying right here through the first half of September at least, since I am the superintendent for the poultry barn at the county fair, and still have the usual million and one things to do before and during the fair.

I have been trying to cut down and/ or pull over a large oak tree that is hanging over my main chicken pen.
I got one of the biggest and most threatening limbs off yesterday with no trouble but today hasn't been as successful. I need one more chain.

yes I have a live trap that will be set tonight with the bird that I found this morning at bait!

I have no clue how it is getting in!! It is furstrating.

Ivy glad your chick is doing better but I'm pretty sure it was Les & Robin that helped you out.

STIMPY News update !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have been texting Lou ( Kieth's DW ) and he has been taken off the ventilator this morning after such a long time and he is talking up a storm. Lou wanted me to thank everybody for their Prayers, they helped and somebody heard them. So it seems he is making some big progress although he still isn't out of the woods but this is a huge step in his recovery.
