People Of Oklahoma Poultry Swap April 25th 2009 I-40 and Chactow KOA

camp.

This is just an informal get together of our group here and their family

and frineds. We can bring birds to sell/trade/swap.



Those that are traveling a ways maybe could do paper and plastic ware.

Breads and chips. There will be a Loves right at the exit off I-40 to get

ice and such if needed. There is a WalMart just about 15 miles from this

exit on I40 in Shawnee. There is also a Walmart off I-240 and I-40 from

the west in OKC.

Guess I'm running behind.....Got our shirts ordered,
sent a note about what we're bringing, and read
the current menu to Pa-Pa..........He says we'll
be there Friday night to "watch it cookin' ", and
he's stayin' Saturday night, too.......Figures there'll
be plenty of leftovers.........LOL Will get our
campsite reservations this evening. Recon I
could do it in two separate reservations, so we
get separate credit for both nights?

Thanks to all that have worked on this. It's been
a while since we've looked forward to something
that didn't involve "blow drying" a chicken....LOL

Now it seems as though POOPS is really shaping up to be some big fun. the ball is really rolling now. now We need everybody to flood the forum asking HennyPennies to bring her guitar for the entertainment by the fire.

Al sounds like a plan, we do need music. I just might see if I can find my tent and stay. If my friends come in from MO for this they will be in a camper. And they will be there for the entire weekend.

We do need to do something for the kids. Mine will be 5 5 and 2 yrs old (one of the 5 yr olds and the 2 yr old is my friends kids the other is my grandson). HMMMMMMM let me talk to my daughters BF....he might be able to bring a horse for rides for the younger kids and older but probably couldnt go to far. Maybe someone could make up some stick horses for the younger kids to do races. Maybe a JR type rodeo. (remember if the kids dont have things to do they will pester us to death)

I agree, I will bring the horseshoes and I think my DD still has some outdoor games for when she was younger, so the kiddies can also have some fun, I will look for them and load-em up. do we need to look at bringing some outdoor serving tables??.
