Okcarla she wants to mate with one of your toms. when I lived in the country my tom would breed wild hen every day they would fly into the pen and breed and I never see them again I keep corn out for them hoping they would come back with their little ones and they never did.

exit on I40 in Shawnee. There is also a Walmart off I-240 and I-40 from

the west in OKC.

Teehee I was going to correct you on the number but after alittle thought I don't think my oldest would be able to come.

On the meat end put me down for a ham (for that smoker), I will also do some sort of side.....Maybe bake beans

I see some deals being made

I just might have a few extra myself! There might even be a little jerky around my campsite! We live on deer meat. Buckguy - do you do straight deer or do you mix it with other meat? I mix some pork into mine to get some fat. I don't think beef works as well although I know lots of folks use beef fat.

Well, I will be late getting in on Friday now for POOPs. We went ahead and were proactive and cancelled school for tomorrow.

Bunch of scaredy-cats! It is better for the kids and parents plus most of the teachers are out of town! Upside...I get to play with my new birdies!

Teach are those chickies fron the roos I gave ya? That would be so awesome. I would probably choke up and bawl.
Mrs. Squeaky is on day 18... I figure she will hatch at the height of cold weather. I got a heat lamp for in there, but might just bring her in the house if it gets too cold. I candled and all I see is darkness and air sac.... Is that right. I thought one was behind as I could see the chick really well and all the weird stuff floating in there, but I think it could be because the shell is really light (nearly white) and I could see more. What do you guys think? Do you think I will get any chickies? if I wanted to keep her broody would I have to take them away before they hatch or could I take them away right after?

Has anyone here built the Whizbang Chicken plucker? I am going to build one but have a few more parts to get yet. I bought some picking fingers off e-bay but they are the wrong size so I have to order some more.
