I'm home to roost. This was a long week - lots of children acting like they were raised by wolves. I may not be up much longer.

We had a new, insulated door put on our garage today. It really makes an ovbious difference. I had no idea how much heat was escaping thru the old door. My little chicks have no worries this winter.

Well it's been a crazy Friday, but, I got dressing made, turkey ready to cook, a chocolate cake made and 2 pumpkin pies in the oven.
Bought all the paper products needed for dinner tomorrow. I will do a few dinner rolls tomorrow. I know we have pecan pies, greenbean casserole and a fruit salad coming tomorrow. Looks like all we really need if anyone is still trying to decide what to bring is maybe a few sides or veggies, more dinner rolls or maybe their favorite dish.

Had a few more consignments called in. Mille fleur OEG bantams and Mille fleur d'uccles. Americana eggs. Americana hens and game birds.

Hope to see everyone tomorrow for dinner and sale!

I bought six Indian runner ducks, three of them are topknots!Hope everyone else has a great weekend. maybe I will see some of you at the Afton swap tomorrow!

Good Morning~

Glad you had a good time Wayne & sorry I didn't get to see you while you were here. I am up so early getting ready to go to the show in Stillwell & then I would like to come home & take a nap. All this work is catching up to me.

Peaches - It sounds like you've got everything under control. I've got the pecan pies in the fridge and will put them into pietakers just before I head your way. Our school cafeteria served Thanksgiving dinner to the students and staff on Friday, but it just didn't seem festive. With all the auction folks and BYC friends, I'm sure your dinner will be a great success!

I captured my two sneaky peachick teenagers yesterday and put them back into the pen. Now I need to get a ladder and put chicken wire around the top of the covered pen so they can't get out at night.

Well, I was really wanting to go to Fletcher and leave Grayson to have fun at my aunt's house, but it looks like we'll be staying home with the flu instead. I haven't felt this miserable in a long time. I even went through the trouble of catching quail yesterday, just to have to let them out of the cage this morning. So not fair.
