Hi Poco, Number one hen is definitly a Red Quill Gamehen, Number two can be any of several hundred Black varieties but I think she looks like a Black Shuffler and Number three looks to be either a very molted beaten down Stag (young roo) or if its a hen for sure it is a cross I would say of a hatch and something, could be a cross from the other three you have if they were all together!!! They are beautiful and if you want to get rid of the number one hen CALL ME!!!!! Lynn

Isn't it funny how one rooster by himself will only crow a few times a day, but if there are multiple roosters, they seem to have contests. I have roosters in several areas and get an echo effect from them crowing from different sides of the house. I actually enjoy it and when a rooster from a neighbor chimes in, it is like music with the director queing different areas of the orchestra.

Congratulations to Jared! He is going to be entertaining his classmates with great stories today. We want to see pictures!

Monty, although I appreciate your thoughtfulness in thinking of me with regard to my possible need for a NN rooster,

I am pleased to say that the two blue NN roosters you generously provided me are doing well.

I actually had to buy some full grown NN hens because I am not having much luck raising them as chicks and need some hens to go with the 5 or 6 NN roosters I have (two from you, one purchased at Fletcher and 2-3 from eggs purchased from Carla - including one that is frizzled)

By the way - there were some nice roosters at Fletcher. Jer-man and I discussed buying a few for you.

Donnie - Thanks! I'll look for the pictures Tuesday.

Good Morning Okies~ Looks like I missed out on lots of chatting yesterday! I couldn't get back on last night, we were having internet troubles.......this could be a problem until we get into the new house....it will all be worth it in the end right?

Monty I want to see pictures as well! Tell Jared I said congrats! Will you have it mounted?

You guys are funny with your roo talk! Since I didn't get to go to the auction I have some pretty one's that I could send your way.
